Beth brings 20 years of experience—12 of them in the automotive field—developing comprehensive business and technical publications. With a keen ability to distill information, plus a distinctive eye for design, Beth helps make WPEX-developed publications accurate, engaging, and user-focused. She has designed, formatted, and copy edited training publications and presentations on subjects such as service and parts operations, service advisor and service manager training, warranty policies and procedures, customer service, merchandising, and performance coaching.
Beth is president of Project Solutions Network, Inc., a company that since 2003 has been developing accurate, engaging, user-centered documentation that assists clients in building customer loyalty, reducing support costs, and increasing their competitive edge. Project Solutions specializes in the automotive, hi-tech, and biotech industries. Hi-tech and biotech projects include software and hardware user guides, online help, approval applications to federal and international regulatory agencies, research publications, document design templates, and style guides.
Prior to forming her own company in 2000, which later became Project Solutions, Beth worked for Deiss & Associates, Inc., (an independent consulting firm specializing in retail automotive network development) as a project coordinator, copy editor, and writer. There her projects included the following:
- Copy editing service operations manuals and training publications for various automotive manufacturers
- Serving as managing editor and a contributing writer for the Chevrolet Service Supremacy initiative newsletter “Perform”
- Assisting with graphics development for numerous automotive publications
- Coordinating dealership operations self-assessment projects for the Chevrolet Service Supremacy initiative and the GM Automotive YES initiative, including the development of necessary materials, forms, and reports
In the early years of her career, Beth developed procedures manuals for an investment firm and training materials for a job-training program, which she also directed.
