Meet Consultant & Coach, Jeff Cast
Jeff Cast started his automotive career, working for a local dealer as a service advisor. In addition, his retail experience includes working as a warranty administrator, work distribution specialist, assistant service manager, and service manager with parts supervision.
Jeff’s retail experience was followed by three years with Volkswagen of America. He began as the customer relation’s manager for Northern California and then as a district manager, working with service managers, parts managers, and dealer principals to improve their Fixed Operations performance results.
Jeff later became a district manager at Porsche Cars North America working with service managers, parts managers, and dealer principals to improve their Fixed Operations performance results.
In 1989, Jeff accepted a position with Deiss and Associates, Inc., in St. Helena, CA. During his tenure at Deiss, he was involved with many manufacturer-based projects, consulted with hundreds of retail automobile dealerships, designed and developed training curriculum, and conducted numerous service operations seminars throughout the US and Europe. Highlights include:
- Project manager of standards and performance assessment programs
- Development and implementation of manufacturer-specific performance improvement programs
- He has worked in retail network development
- Developed complete dealership business operating systems
In 2000, Deiss group reformed as Ebos, inc., where Jeff helped to define and map the company’s primary product, a performance improvement diagnostic software program. Performance improvement mapping-measurements to actionable recommendations-were defined for several large transportation companies.
In 2003, Jeff Cast formed his consulting company, Solutions for Improved Performance. Services provided include: training and coaching, resource utilization, assessment and analysis, process mapping and improvement to name a few.
Jeff’s diverse experience, perspective, and influence have successfully served companies needing integrated solutions to improve performance. Additionally, his ability to establish rapport with owners, management, and front-line personnel ensures that changes are successfully implemented and sustained.
