Meet Facilitator, Consultant & Coach, Lee Eddy

Lee Eddy

Lee Eddy is currently representing J.D. Power and Associates evaluating dealership processes and operations on the Volkswagen Business Performance assessment process.

Lee brings over 14 years of automotive sales, management, training and consulting experience to his current projects and partnerships.

After presenting, selling and managing at the retail level, Lee worked with Volkswagen of America as a Field Merchandising Specialist, Manufacturer’s Rep and Regional Trainer and Training Manager.

These positions included the opportunity and challenge to work with over 100 dealerships coast to coast and manage several special events such as auto shows, product launches, ride and drives as well as several promotional ski events through the Rocky Mountain States.

As a certified facilitator for the Tom Peter’s Consulting Group, Lee facilitated, trained and presented to dealerships throughout the Midwest, the culture change program based on the Tom Peter’s book, “In the Pursuit of WOW”.

Lee then started his own independent contract firm LEED Performance, Inc. and immediately began a 3 year project with General Motors Corporation designing, presenting and launching the GM Certified Used Vehicles Program. As a Regional Consultant, Lee worked with Midwest Region Staff presenting to, enrolling and training over 96 dealers in the Central Region.

Lee’s relationship with GM included a lead role in design of the processes, operation, technology and retail facility for the GM Driversite retail store in Houston TX. In both positions, Lee authored, wrote and produced training modules and documents.

Most recently Lee has been representing J.D. Power and Associates as a Lead Evaluator on the Ford Blue Oval, Mazda Winners Circle and Volkswagen certification and assessment programs. This has taken Lee into over 500 dealerships throughout the United States to review, observe and evaluate operations and processes in the sales, service and parts departments. These evaluations also include facility evaluations and regional competitive market observations.

Lee is currently program director and head coach for the Wilmot Mtn. Masters Ski Racing Program as well as a Pro Rep for Volkl Ski and Tecnica Boot Company.

After graduating from the College of St. Francis in Joliet IL with a bachelor’s degree in Finance, he spent one year as a College Counselor and one year as a carpenter and ski technician in Vail, CO.

Currently, Lee is active as a father and husband and recreates as a ski racing coach in the Midwest and Colorado and is an avid whitewater kayaker and mountain bike racer.
